Destiny is the District's integrated, online library circulation and
management system.
Destiny allows users to search for library materials
anytime, anywhere. Students, school personnel, and parents can search
from any computer with Internet connection - in school or from home.
Teachers and parents can search Destiny by Accelerated Reader, Reading
Counts, or Lexile levels and print booklists to help students locate
library materials.
Destiny also provides book reviews to help teachers and parents
recommend appropriate materials for students. A standards correlation
will be added to Destiny this winter, allowing all users to search for
library materials by State of Florida Sunshine State Standards. This
correlation will form a greater connection between classroom curriculum
and library media materials. |
