The Media Center at R. R. Moton Elementary School is a state-of the-art, multi-purpose facility that goes far beyond the days of card catalogs to include an Online Public Access Catalog that includes print and non-print resources available at our school as well as all other schools in Miami-Dade County and is accessible from any school or home computer with internet access. In addition, resources from all schools in the state of Florida are available online through SUNLINK, making resource sharing in the district a well as the state an easy task! |

Our Media Center contains several components: |

A mini production center used for creating books, buttons and posters. |

An ample storage area for software, teaching aides, hardware, etc.. |

A 22 unit Macintosh Computer Lab |

Complete internet access to OPAC throughout the Media Center as well as the entire campus |

17 networked computer stations used for research, production, and internet access. |

|
Over 10,000 circulated items including books, reference and periodicals materials, and VHS videotape programs. |
